Rhythm Muscle Band Bio

Rhythm Muscle Band is an R&B and Classic Rock group from South Carolina.
Formed in 2016, the power house band comprises seven members, filling the room with
an enriching blend of instrumentation and soulful vocals. With influences from Amy
Winehouse to Aretha Franklin, from Percy Sledge to Kool & the Gang, RMB’s sound is
nostalgic of the rock bands that filled the sunset strip and encompasses the lyricism and
blues influence that evokes the deepest outpour of emotion. Grooving to their recent
successes such as “Damage is Done” is just the start. With their originals to over 30
covers featuring Etta James, Eric Clapton, Fleetwood Mac and Carol King, their shows
are an authentic concert of upbeat, drum-driving classics and fervent stories featuring
saxophone sensations.

RMB members include co-founder John Rutledge, Bunny Clyde, Dana Bradly,
Michael Blythe, Gary Richie, Jeff Cox and Jeff Cassidy. Made of musicians and artists
with experience from tours to studio work, this band is a collaboration of talent. As a
staple in South Carolina, they travel the southeast and have performed at venues such
as RJ Rockers, Bar Figaro and Main Street Fridays. They’ve been on the set list for
events from the 1 Spark Chalk-Off Competition, the Reedy River Concert Series to the
Fall Concert Series featured in South Carolina.

Releases have been played on radio worldwide. “Damage is Done” reached #1
on the R&B / Soul Charts on Power XR Radio Network and won Editor’s Choice Award
from Marquix Global Network. Furthermore, the Akademia Organization awarded
Rhythm Muscle Band with the 2021 Rising Star Award in 2021.
