Spartanburg’s own, Rhythm Muscle Band, is a first-class hit in Los Angeles. In fact, the popular single from the group—There’s a Whole World Waiting for You—has hit No. 1 on KMIX Radio.

When asked about the success of the popular single, founder John Rutledge said, “It been such a surreal and happy moment [hearing the single’s air play]. Most of the group has spent their lives working multiple jobs while being musicians. It was great to think that so many years of hard work really paid off.”
The single, which was written in the late 70’s by friend of the band Jeff Logan, has also received critical acclaim. “Rhythm Muscle Band knows their strengths – an intuition that may make them a top R&B contender – songs like ‘There’s A Whole World Waiting For You’ are irresistibly suave.”
